North End Baking Co. & Café has been providing Halifax with delicious baked goods, food services and catering since 1977 — first as Sunshine Catering, and later as Fireside Kitchen. In addition, we provide Prescott Group participants with training in food preparation, baking, cashiering, and other food service and kitchen responsibilities. We are a fair-wage employer, staffed by people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Our kitchen is spearheaded by a Red Seal certified chef.
