Ordering Guidelines and Availability

Please read the following guidelines before proceeding with your order:

  1. We encourage you to place your order as early as possible, but we require at least 3 full business days (Monday-Friday*) to prepare all pre-orders.

  2. Orders placed after 3:00 PM will be processed and count as the next business day (example: orders placed Monday at 3:30pm will be considered placed Tuesday at 9am).

  3. Since we do not offer pickup or delivery on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, those days do not count toward the 72 business hours.

  4. Please review the information below for the latest possible times to place your order:

    *You will be given the option to choose your dates and times. If we receive your order after the cut-off time specified, we will contact you to re-schedule your order or apply a refund.

  5. Pick-Up & Delivery
    We offer both pick-up and delivery options to suit your needs:

    • Pick-Up Hours: Available Tuesday – Friday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Orders can be picked up in our cafe at 5505 Clyde Street.

    • Delivery Options: We deliver to Halifax Peninsula ($15) and Dartmouth ($20) from Tuesday to Friday, between 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

    • Longer Distance Deliveries: For deliveries outside these areas, please call us to discuss availability and rates!

    • You will prompted to enter this information on the Checkout page - please ensure you enter the correct information.

  6. Online Ordering Closed on weekends

    We close our online store from Friday afternoon to Monday morning weekly. All items will be marked as “sold out”.

  7. If an item says “Sold Out” during the week

    It is because we do not have any stock available. Please check back at a later date.

  8. We do not take pre-orders over the phone - please place your order online.

Cancellation Policy

  • Please contact us by 12pm two days before the selected pick-up date to cancel or modify your order. Orders cancelled with less than 48 hours notice but more than 24 hours notice are subject to a 50% refund. Orders cancelled within 24 hours of the chosen pickup date will not be refunded.

  • We will hold your order for 24 hours. If it is not picked up, it will be donated. We are not responsible for orders that are not picked up.

  • Please note: We follow the Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE) Snow Policy. If schools in the HRM are closed due to weather, so are we. In this case, your order will be 100% refunded, or rescheduled to a later date. We will contact you as early as possible.

*Pre-ordering business hours differ from cafe operational hours. Thank you for understanding.
